Commands below can be found on the MCSA Log On / Log Off page:

COMMAND DESCRIPTION HOW TO EXECUTE
Log ON Logs on user to MCSA
  1. Enter User Name
  2. Enter Password
  3. Press the Log ON button
Log OFF Logs off user from MCSA
  1. Press the Log OFF button
Reset Resets the User Name and Password entry fields.
  1. Press the Reset button.
View Log Spawns MCEV and loads MCSA event log file.
  1. Press the View Log button
Enable Enables security throughout NTMC
  1. Press the Enable button
Disable Disables security throughout NTMC
  1. Press the Disable button

 

Commands below can be found on the MCSA Groups page:

COMMAND DESCRIPTION HOW TO EXECUTE
Add Group Adds new group to security database
  1. Press the Add Group button
  2. Enter the new group name
  3. Press the OK button
Copy Group Copies an existing group data into new group.
  1. Click on the group you would like to copy in the Groups list
  2. Press the Copy Group button
  3. Enter the new group name
  4. Press the OK button
Delete Group Deletes selected group from security database. All users who are members of this group are assigned the group called NONE.
  1. Click on the group you would like to delete in the Groups list
  2. Press the Delete Group button
  3. Press the OK button to confirm
Access Control Set or clear to give or revoke access to a particular resource.
  1. Select (click on) a group in the Groups list
  2. Select NTMC object class in the NTMC Object Classes list.
  3. Set or clear the Access Control list items. Item Access overrides all others. When cleared, all others are ignored, the selected group has no access to objects of the selected object class.

Add User Adds new user to security database
  1. Press the Add User button
  2. Enter the new user name
  3. Press the OK button
    This adds a user <username>  with First Name <username>, Last Name <username>, Password <username>, and Group Membership NONE to the database. It is recommended that these attributes be modified to their correct values immediately after account is created.
Copy User Copies an existing user data into new group.
  1. Select (click on) the user you would like to copy in the Users list
  2. Press the Copy User button
  3. Enter the new user name
  4. Press the OK button
    This adds a new user with First Name, Last Name, Password and Group Membership of the copied user into the database. It is recommended that these attributes be modified to their correct values immediately after account is created. 
Delete User Deletes selected user from security database.
  1. Click on the user you would like to delete in the Users list
  2. Press the Delete User button
  3. Press the OK button to confirm
First Name Sets and displays the user's first name.
  1. Select (click on) a user in the Users list
  2. Select (click into) the First Name text box
  3. Enter the first name.
Last Name Sets and displays the user's last name.
  1. Select (click on) a user in the Users list
  2. Select (click into) the Last Name text box
  3. Enter the last name.
Password Sets the user's password.
  1. Select (click on) a user in the Users list
  2. Select (click into) the Password text box
  3. Enter the new password.
Group Membership Sets and displays the user's group membership.
  1. Select (click on) a user in the Users list
  2. Click onto the Group Membership pull-down arrow. This displays the available groups.
  3. Select (click onto) a group
Add Object Adds an object to user's object ownership list.
  1. Select (click on) a user in the Users list
  2. Press the Add Object button
  3. Press the pull-down arrow. This displays the list of available objects. The object list was built in WebLink.
  4. Select an object
  5. Press the OK button
Remove Object Removes selected object from user's object ownership list.
  1. Select (click on) a user in the Users list
  2. Select (click on) the object to be removed from Owned NTMC Objects list
  3. Press the Remove Object button
