Master Controller Data Analyzer
is used
for displaying, printing, and analyzing of
NTMC data recording files. The sections below highlight some of the
important program features.
On-line Access
The program is
integrated into most NTMC components, core and
modules. It is activated by pressing the button shown on the left, or by
selecting the appropriate menu. When started in this manner MCDA automatically
loads the correct data recording file and displays it.
Off-line Access
MCDA can also be
started off-line by clicking the icon shown on
the left. This enables the operator to view system data recording files when
NTMC is down. One can also view archived data recording files
stored elsewhere on the computer or on the local area network. This can be
useful when looking for some specific older data, when preparing a report based
on historical records, etc.
Data Filtering
Data can be filtered by
date, time of day, Y axis, and billing period (peak vs. off-peak). Standard
filters are provided (Today, Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, etc.). Custom
filters can easily be created and saved for later use.

Reports
Hourly averages, hourly Maxima and daily Maxima of data can be generated.
Control point historical activity reports such as point state, and accumulated
off time can be produced. Reports can easily be customized.
Presentation
Data are presented in
tabular and graphical forms. In the former case all columns can be sorted by
clicking on respective headings. All windows can be printed at any time.

Data
Exporting
Data (entire files, reports, or filtered data) can be
exported into spreadsheet readable files.
